Application and use
Adhesive 42Spp has been specifically developed for applications requiring good initial tack combined with excellent removability. It offers reliable adhesion on a broad range of carton and corrugated board substrates as well as on low surface energy materials (e.g. PE and PP). Its balanced adhesive characteristics make it particularly suitable for logistics labels and many other removable labelling applications. As removability can be influenced by the substrate and application conditions, application trials on the intended substrates are recommended prior to use.
Adhesive 42Spp features excellent resistance to light, heat and ageing.
Processing
Excellent die-cutting characteristics on all customary machines.
Storage conditions and shelf life
Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
Regulations concerning contact with food
The pressure-sensitive adhesive 42Spp can be safely used for the back coating of labels for the labelling of foodstuffs for storage at room temperature and below. It may be used in direct contact with dry, moist and fatty foodstuffs that can be assigned a correction factor of at least 2 in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011.
