Application and use
The matt surface of HERMA PE white matt offers an excellent print quality in conventional printing techniques. The matt topcoat has been particularly designed for thermal transfer printing and gives excellent printing results. We recommend wax/resin or resin ribbons.
HERMA PE white matt is perfect for the production of optically demanding, matt and opaque labels. For recycling reasons these labels are preferably used on PE surfaces.
Thanks to the high flexibility of this PE film even curved surfaces may be labelled without any problems as well as squeezable packaging.

Regulations concerning contact with food
HERMA PE white matt is in compliance with Commission Regulations (EC) no. 1935/2004 and (EU) no. 10/2011 as amended on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food with and furthermore with the Commission Regulation (EC) no. 2023/ 2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. The film has not been conducted to a test for specific migration in food. It is pointed out that there must be no direct contact between topcoat and food.
