Application and use
The adhesive 42Lpp shows an excellent removability on a wide variety of surfaces. It is used where a very good removability of the label with good initial adhesion is required. 42Lpp is particularly characterized by its universality and a very low increase in adhesion, even with longer application times or under temperature stress. Less suitable for use on rough or strongly curved surfaces. 42Lpp has very good resistance to light, heat and ageing.
Label material, label shape, application conditions and adhesive duration have an influence on the peel-off profile. Therefore the functionality of the printed label should always be thoroughly tested under all conditions of use.
Processing
Excellent die-cutting characteristics on all customary machines.
Storage conditions and shelf life
Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
Regulations concerning contact with food
The pressure-sensitive adhesive 42Lpp can be safely used for the back coating of labels for the labelling of foodstuffs for storage at room temperature and below. It may be used in direct contact with dry, moist and fatty foodstuffs that can be assigned a correction factor of at least 4 in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. (Declaration of no objection valid until 07.08.2027)
